Make an Opening and Closing Sign for Your Shop, and a Holiday Closure Sign
shop opening and closing sign · opening and closing hours sign · holiday closure sign, tell customers clearly
A customer coming and finding the shop closed without knowing in advance is the experience that loses customers most easily. This tool makes an opening-closing hours sign for all 7 days in an easy-to-read form, and a sign announcing a special holiday closure, for example closing for Songkran, closing to renovate the shop, or changing the hours temporarily.
You can choose both a print size to stick up in front of the shop and a square size for posting on LINE OA, Facebook or an IG story. You can put in the shop name, the logo and the brand colour. Done in 1 minute, no need to open an image editing program.
Frequently asked questions
Can a sign be made for a temporary closure on just some days?
Yes. Apart from the normal opening-hours sign there is also a form of sign announcing a special holiday closure, stating the date it closes and the date it comes back open for customers to see clearly right from the shopfront, no need to write a piece of paper and stick it up yourself.
What kind of file do I get, can it be printed at a copy shop?
You can choose both A4 and A5, press print straight from the browser, or press save as a high-resolution PNG image and send the file to a copy shop to print for you. The lettering is black on a white background, so it reads out even printed in black and white.
If I change the hours do I have to fill everything in again?
You don't have to. The opening hours you fill in are remembered in this browser on this device, so they are still there when you come back. Change only the day that changed and print again. Your online shopfront page shows the same set of hours.
Can a lunch break be set, or closing on some days?
Yes, each day can be set independently. Open all day, closed all day, or leaving a break in between — it can all be set separately day by day. The sign arranges the days Monday to Sunday to make it easy to read, and a day that is closed comes up with the word closed clearly instead of being left blank.
Is there an English version for foreign customers?
At the moment the sign is in Thai only, there is no language switch button yet. If the shop is in a tourist area, the way that works straight away is to print two signs and type the day names in English into the shop name box or the notes yourself.
