Why it's safe
- What you type into the free tools doesn't leave your device. Everything is calculated in the browser. Leave this page open and turn the internet off, and you can still press create and carry on printing.
- We don't keep your shop's data on a server. Your shop name, PromptPay number and list of sales are not sent to us.
- No signing up, no email to enter, no paying. Open the page and you can use it.
A good scan-to-pay sign gets customers paying faster and cuts down on account numbers typed wrong. This tool builds a Bank of Thailand standard (EMVCo) PromptPay QR from your mobile number, your national ID card number or your e-Wallet ID. It can be left open for the customer to type the amount, or carry a fixed amount for a single-price item.
You can choose the sign size, whether for sticking on the counter, standing on a table, or poster size. Put in the shop name and a thank-you message, then download it as a high-resolution image file to print straight away. Your account information is not sent anywhere — the QR is made on your own machine.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to sign up or pay?
No signing up and no charge. Open this page and type in the shop name and the PromptPay number straight away. The sign you get has no watermark and no advertising text stuck over it. Download it as many times as you like.
Can I put a fixed amount in the QR?
Yes. If you specify an amount, the QR locks the total so the customer can scan and pay straight away without typing the number in. Good for a single-price product. If you leave it blank, the customer fills in the total themselves in the bank app.
Is our PromptPay number information safe?
The QR is computed in the browser on your own machine. The PromptPay number never travels as far as our server, and we have no database keeping any shop's account number at all. You can read the details on the security page.
Why do I have to scan and check the name before printing?
Because we have no way of knowing whether the number you typed is really your number. If one digit is typed wrong, the QR still scans as normal, but the money goes into someone else's account every time. Scan the screen with your own bank app and see whether the recipient name matches you.
What sizes does the sign come in, can it be printed at a copy shop?
There is A4 for putting on the wall, A5 for standing on the counter, and a 90×90 mm sticker for sticking on a cabinet. Every size can be printed straight from the browser, or saved as a high-resolution PNG file to have printed at a copy shop.
