What percentage is GP normally?
There is no single number that is right for every shop, because GP is a matter of the contract between the shop and each platform, and it differs by shop type, area and the package you signed up for. The numbers in the tool are reference starting values along with the date they were last checked. Always change them to the percentage in your shop's actual contract.
How is the VAT on GP calculated?
Generally the platform charges VAT on the GP as a further layer, not only on the selling price. Turn the VAT switch on and the tool breaks it out line by line: how much GP is deducted, how much VAT on the GP is deducted on top of that, and how much actually reaches the shop. If your shop's contract does not work this way, turn the switch off.
How does the take-orders-yourself link work?
It is a link that opens a LINE chat with your shop's LINE OA account, with a food order message filled in as a form for the customer to complete. If you do not have a LINE OA yet, the system makes a call button instead. This way there is no middleman, so there is no GP to pay.
I want the same as selling at the shop — what price do I have to set on the app?
Put in your shop-front price and the tool works backwards to what price you have to set on the app to be left with the same amount. Or you can state the net amount you want yourself. The number you get is a starting point for deciding, not a price you are forced to set.
Are the numbers I fill in sent to anyone?
They are not sent anywhere at all. The whole calculation happens in your browser, so the shop's cost prices and sales never travel out of the machine. We do not know what you sell or at what price, and there is no way for us to know.
